SENECA, S.C. – People wanting to provide written comments on the proposed changes to sewer usage by the Oconee Joint Regional Sewer Authority have until April 3.
Written comments can be submitted as an alternative to attending the hearing on April 7, and must include the following: commenter’s name, address (where sewer service is provided), and signature. Comments must be received by 4:30 p.m. local time on Thursday, April 3, 2025 and can be delivered by mail or in person to: Oconee Joint Regional Sewer Authority // ATTN: OJRSA Executive Director // 623 Return Church Rd // Seneca, SC 29678.
The following written comments will not be considered: those that are late, do not include an original signature, comments by email, those submitted by phone, or any determined by OJRSA legal counsel that should be excluded
from consideration.

The public will have an opportunity to comment on the proposed changes prior to the OJRSA Board of Commissioners’ April 7, 2025 meeting. People do not have to write a comment to speak at the hearing. In addition, people who send in a comment still are allowed to speak at the hearing.
