GREENVILLE, S.C. – KIND of the Upstate has added Leah Stoudenmire of The Rock It! Co. to its board.
KIND of the Upstate is a nonprofit dedicated to educating young children and encouraging them to include others and nurture all forms of differences and disabilities amongst their peers. It provides educational material to local schools that ignite discussions between children, parents, and educators about the importance of being kind to others and learning that everyone has different abilities. Furthermore, KIND promotes the inclusion and acceptance of all individuals.
“We are honored to have Leah join our board,” said Carolina Giguere, one of the co-founders of KIND of the Upstate. “Her leadership, drive, and enthusiasm all make her a great advocate for KIND of the Upstate.”
Stoudenmire founded The Rock It! Co. in 2014. It’s a full-service marketing and events agency with extensive experience planning and managing in-person conferences, virtual conferences, sales incentive trips, and experiences for companies such as PlanSource, iBTR, Kastle Systems, Snagajob, and ICF.
From startups to large corporations, The Rock It! Co. has successfully partnered with companies nationwide to deliver specialized marketing solutions including branding and design, content creation, email marketing, social media, search engine marketing (SEM), search engine optimization (SEO), product launches, website design, and development. The company added a Greenville office this Spring.
Stoudenmire said this is an organization that is close to her heart. One of her nephews has Down syndrome, and her father spent decades in education as a teacher and principal, even being honored with the Order of the Palmetto for his work on helping children come together.
“You can say my entire life has led me to KIND of the Upstate,” Stoudenmire said. “Their mission is so vital to helping children grow.”
