This was one of those weeks where Complete PR got to do things that were wildly different, but will have amazing impacts on the community at large. These were two different projects that we announced on the same day (Wednesday) that are part of why the City of Greenville is so amazing.
The first was the dedication of Joshua’s Way in the Sterling Community with Habitat for Humanity. This development will add housing for 13 families, and makes Habitat’s biggest project in the city in almost a decade. It also marks a shining example of what Greenville is doing to combat its affordable housing dilemma. What is that dilemma? Basically, Greenville is getting so much attention that low and middle income families are having trouble finding housing they can afford. It is an unwanted side effect of success.
The second was the announcement of the Topside Pool Club, which will opening Memorial Day weekend on the seventh floor of Falls Park Place. This is Greenville’s first Main Street pool club and already is being hailed as Greenville’s next hot spot.
We had to take two very different media relations approaches to each of these projects. But that is what we do at Complete Public Relations. We don’t do cookie cutter campaigns. We don’t do easy. We don’t do boring. We think outside the box when we have to even if that is a cliché we hate. We just think. We think differently. We take time to make a decision that works best for our partners.
We have some more big announcements coming soon. They will be wildly different as well.
