GREENVILLE, S.C. – Time to don the kilt for a Celtic jam party at Trailblazer Park in Travelers Rest.
The Greenville Scottish Games will present the TR Fall Ceilidh on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 6 p.m. 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The fall festival will feature food from Mike & Jeff’s BBQ and The Groovy Dog. The beer will be from Thomas Creek Brewery. The event will include performances by the American Rogues and Celtica Pipes Rock. Learn more at the event’s Facebook page.
A Ceilidh is a traditional Scottish social event that includes folk music and singing, traditional dancing, and storytelling, said Jay Spivey, the marketing director for the games. This is a great way for the Greenville Scottish Games to promote our Scottish Heritage with soul-rousing music.
“We want everyone to enjoy a fun evening and atmosphere at our Ceilidh,” Spivey said. “Kilts are not required, but encouraged.”
