This week has had a few rainy, cloudy days, so it got us thinking…what are some things to do around Greenville when it’s a rainy day? Here’s what we came up with:
If you’re looking for a cozy place to enjoy reading a book and grabbing coffee, M. Judson Booksellers is the place to go! They have a farm-to-table cafe, Chocolate Moose Bakery with delightful cupcakes and a bookstore with author signings, book clubs, pop up suppers, and Saturday story time in the children’s nook! To see if this is something that would fit into your rainy day schedule, check out their website here.
You can even test out your gaming skills and have some fun competition at Spare Time, where they have a bowling alley, arcade, and dining options! For more info, click here.
If you’re feeling artistic, Color Clay Café has hundreds of styles of unfinished pottery ready to decorate! You apply the design and paint, and they do the glazing and firing to turn your piece into a beautiful work of art! A relaxing, yet fun experience for any age.
Who doesn’t love going to the movies? This is a classic activity to do on a rainy day. There are several movie theaters located in the Greenville area for you and your friends or family to enjoy!
Even better, you could have a spa day! Treat yourself and unwind at The Spa at West End or River Falls Spa. Both located in the downtown area, indulge and get a facial, massage, manicure, pedicure, and more. For more info on The Spa at West End, click here. For more info on River Falls Spa click here. You could even take a trip to Drift Spa, where they offer infrared sauna and float therapy, two interesting modern means of detoxing and alternative health.
For kids, try checking out The Children’s Museum of the Upstate. Full of interesting and fun activities, your kids will be entertained for hours!
To top off your rainy day, treat yourself to a nice dinner. Downtown has many food options, with Main Street alone being home to more than 100 unique restaurants.
