WYNIT Distribution, a leading national distributor of technology products, decided to move its headquarters to Greenville in the fall of 2015. Big deal for South Carolina, but potential PR nightmare in the states where WYNIT was pulling employees from.

Complete Public Relations created a roll out package that included multiple press releases for each city involved. We also created a series of talking points for WYNIT officials to use for the press and employees. We also developed a contingency plan in case the story leaked early in out of state media.That plan included creating enhanced  social media listening tools to monitor mentions.

Complete PR created a classic public relations plan focused on one-on-one media relations tactics. This included finding bloggers and reporters who were interested in film, while timing press notes every two weeks to help create media buzz.

WYNIT’s announcement drew rave reviews in South Carolina – landing on the covers of the Upstate Business Journal and Greenville News.
