With the New Year quickly approaching that can only mean one thing: resolutions. The promises we make to ourselves in hopes that we actually go through with each and every one as the year progresses. Let’s be completely honest, we all make the resolution to get back in shape (especially since all we did over the holiday break was eat). While getting back into a fitness routine is always at the top of everyone’s list, here at Complete, we decided to make some PR resolutions that will help our company, as well as clients, get in tip top shape business wise.
- More face-to-face interactions
We all get caught up in the convenience of sending an email or picking up the phone to communicate with someone, however, public relations is all about communicating with clients to truly understand what they need/want for the company. Incorporating more face-to-face interactions will cut out the middle man (aka emails) to help us better understand clients’ 2019 goals.
2. Read more inspiring content
By finding relatable content and new outlets to tell clients’ stories, we can keep companies relevant. Also by finding new content, we can enhance our own storytelling voices plus find new ways to keep blogs and articles feeling fresh and different.
3. Create relatable social media content
We get PR is all about telling clients’ stories (see #2). However, with the rise of social media, telling a company’s story has become easier than ever. Creating fun, relatable content to reach the younger generations through social media channels is something we hope to continue to improve on in 2019.
4. Stay hungry
We are always trying to find new ways to grow and construct the best PR plan to fit a business’s needs. We do this by building new relationships, creating networking opportunities, setting new goals, and with overall knowledge of what we can do to be the best PR agency in 2019 and beyond.
So while fitness is always the main goal of any New Year (new year, new me), here at Complete, we are hoping to get back into shape with our four simple, yet effective resolutions. So cheers to hoping 2019 brings growth, learning opportunities, and new outlets to help tell your stories!
