GREENVILLE, S.C. —Joan Herlong & Associates Sotheby’s International Realty is bringing Kristen Smith, Aileen Neal, Erica James, and Tonya Robinson on board as Sales Agents.
Smith earned her bachelor’s degree from the Metropolitan College of Denver and has worked in management for multiple retailers. However, she found her true passion in figure skating. While she got her start practicing as a competitive figure skater, she has worked as a figure skating and power hockey skating instructor, as well as a choreographer and director of various ice skating productions. She serves on her neighborhood homeowners’ association board and is a guild member for Carolina Ballet Theatre. She is also a member of Hemophilia of South Carolina and an advocate for bleeding disorders, especially Von Willebrand disease. Kristen still coaches figure skating and power skating lessons and loves to spend time with her three children.
Neal earned her bachelor’s degree from Savannah College of Art and Design and began working in graphic design immediately following her graduation. She worked as a graphic designer for Adams Outdoor Advertising and for The Ben Silver Corporation. Neal later worked for iHeart Media as a Digital Content Director before joining Joan Herlong & Associates Sotheby’s International Realty.
James earned her bachelor’s degree from Clemson University and went on to found The Booty Shop, a female focused fitness studio and bar in downtown Greenville. Besides owning The Booty Shop, James is a national motivational speaker and a graduate of the Riley Institute Diversity Leadership Initiative. She also was a member of Leadership Greenville Class 45.
Robinson has worked as a model for years, including with Wilhelmina International Inc., DirectionsUSA, and Ursula Wiedmann Models. Through these agencies, she has collaborated with many designers, brands, and publications such as Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, and Cosmopolitan. She has also provided creative and design input for various projects. Locally, Robinson is a volunteer and mentor for Pendleton Place in Greenville, which offers programs to ensure child welfare and family stabilization.
“We are thrilled to be bringing these four on board,” said Joan Herlong, the company’s CEO. “They all possess a wide range of experience involving working with people, and I know they will be naturals in their roles.”
