GREENVILLE, S.C. – With their fierce loyalty to the community and their financial stability, Habitat for Humanity of Greenville County has once again received a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, America’s largest independent charity evaluator.
Charity Navigator, using objective analysis, has been awarding fiscally responsible organizations since 2002. Along with financial responsibility, Charity Navigator gives organizations 4-star ratings based on metrics such as governance, ethical practices and measures of openness. 50 percent of a charities’ overall rating is based on Accountability & Transparency metrics that determine which charities operate in accordance with the best industry practices and whether or not they are open with their donors and stakeholders.
