GREENVILLE, S.C. – Drivers should expect two detours tonight near the I-85-385 interchange tonight that are part of the greater 85-385 Gateway Project.
Crews are planning to implement the first detour along I-85 south bound collector/distributor lanes at exit 51. It will send traffic onto I- 385 north to take the Roper Mountain Road exit, cross back over I-385 and turn left onto I-385 south. This will put them in a position to go to either 85 south towards Atlanta, get to Woodruff Road or take 385 south.
The second detour will be on I-385 north at exit 36-B. It will take the same detour to Roper Mountain Road. Drivers should expect normal traffic patterns to return Thursday.
