GREENVILLE, S.C. – Drivers should expect pacing operations starting this Monday as part of the 85-385 Gateway Project.
A pacing operation is when Highway Patrol temporarily slows, but does not stop traffic during heavy construction work. There will be no significant impact to the travelling public.
Pacing operations will occur during the early morning hours and early evening hours on weekdays. There will be more frequent pacing operations over the weekends. These delays will occur in extremely short durations.
The work will occur at the ramp to I-385 North from Woodruff Road and along with 385 North. These impacts are expected to last 20 to 30 days.
