GREENVILLE, S.C. – I-385 northbound at the I-85 interchange will be closed Friday night at 10PM to allow for the placement of steel girders for a future connector ramp as part of the 85-385 Gateway project.
Traffic will be detoured to I-85 northbound, then directed to turn around at the Highway 14 interchange (Exit 56), then directed along I-85 southbound to the I-385 northbound exit ramp (Exit 51C). Please observe all signage and traffic control devices. Normal traffic patterns should resume by 5AM Saturday morning.
The purpose of the detour is to set steel girders across I-385 northbound for the future I-385 northbound to I-85 southbound connector ramp.
