GREENVILLE, S.C. – Drivers should expect two detours tonight as part of construction along the 85-385 Gateway Project.
The first detour affects traffic on I-385 southbound wanting to go to I-85 North. Drivers will need to take to take I-85 South towards Atlanta. From there, they will follow the detour signage to Woodruff Road, turn left and then take an immediate right to take the exit back to I-85 northbound toward Spartanburg.
The second detour affects drivers on I-385 North trying to get to I-85 North. Traffic will be forced to stay on I-385 to the Roper Mountain Road exit, where drivers will take a left at the top of the off-ramp, then take the on-ramp to I-385 South. From there, traffic will be directed to take the Woodruff Road exit, make a left, then take the immediate right to get back on 85 northbound towards Spartanburg.
Normal traffic patterns are scheduled to return Tuesday morning.
