LIBERTY, S.C. — BookerLAB has hired James McCarter as its Business Development Representative.
Found in 2017, BookerLAB marries a deep love and appreciation for vintage music gear with cutting-edge, precision engineering upgrades.
McCarter most recently held the position of Commercial Sales Manager for Kevin Whitaker Chevrolet in Greenville where he took the commercial sales department from top 100 in the nation to top 20 in the nation.
Previously, he was the owner of Fast Athletics: Youth Training Center and DPS, LLC (Damage Prevention Specialists). While at DPS, McCarter managed to get the stakeholders on board to support a change to a law impacting the industry that had been written in the 1970s, thus creating a new law for the utility industry.
“James’s experience with sales, successful management, and company ownership make him a great addition to the BookerLAB team,” said Tom O’Hanlan, CEO of BookerLAB.
BookerLAB was created to maintain the quality of vintage musical instruments and supporting equipment, specifically the Leslie Speaker Cabinet. BookerLAB offers a range of products for interfacing gear, conversion, motor control, and amplification. With products built solely in America, they’ve developed their unique systems in collaboration with music industry partners. Explore their story at www.bookerlab.com.
