About Us

_____________

Since 2012, Complete PR has accomplished some pretty big tasks. We’ve worked with HBO on a TV show; we moved a historic house; we’ve launched the largest sewer project in Greenville history; we helped save Habitat for Humanity of South Carolina affiliates close to a half a million dollars; we helped Lowe’s rebuild part of Greenwood; we’ve built kiosks along the Prisma Health System Swamp Rabbit Trail; we helped coordinate a college football game; we celebrated the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I and so much more. We have done this by focusing on what we do best. We tell and share stories about amazing and wonderful people. Tech companies. Hospital systems. Local governments. Entrepreneurs. Nonprofit agencies. You name it. We have done it.

Our team has developed and generated results for situations that call for every public relations tactic from planning a successful event to creating and implementing detailed communications plans to strategic outreach to grassroots efforts. Complete PR has the knowledge and skill set to assist you with your community and connection needs.

Complete PR - it's in the name.

A Timeline of the Complete Story

_____________

The early days

a different kind of agency – one that avoids fluff and tells stories in clear and honest ways. Highlights from our first year in business include handling publicity for the Greenville Armed Forces Parade and garnering our first national story for a client in Sports Illustrated.

Moving along

John was named the 2014 Greenville Chamber’s Young Professional of the Year Award and immediately ages about 20 years. Soon after, Kaitlyn Hudson joined the team full time.

We decided to enter an award contest for the first time and came home with three wins from the South Carolina Public Relations Society of America (SCPRSA). In August, we had the opportunity to coordinate a Habitat for Humanity event with Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson, who proceeded to lead the Tigers to the college football national championship game. Those two events may or may not be related. By the end of 2015, Complete PR bid farewell to our beloved CEO Tim Brett. We thanked him for all of the lessons he taught us over the years, and proceeded to keep his couch.

Expanded Work

Our team went on to earn 3 more SCPRSA Mercury Awards in 2016.

A large part of our team’s spring and summer was devoted to a South Carolina District 22 State House campaign, where we helped political newcomer Jason Elliott defeat the district’s current 8 year incumbent.

In November of 2016, we announced a Renewable Water Resources’ $46 billion project scheduled for the 2018 – Dig Greenville. Spanning 10 miles long and 100 feet below the city, Dig Greenville will address Greenville County sewage needs for the next 100 years.

Growing Brands

In early 2017 we announced the first ever Tacos N Tequila event, which quickly turned into The Old Cigar Warehouse’s largest event. Throughout the course of the year we also worked alongside the Spartanburg CVB to help spread the word about the why travelers should #VisitSpartanburg.

Redefining Ourselves

Complete PR rebranded in 2018 in an effort to better codify what we do for our clients  and for ourselves. Anna Rice joins the team full-time. We win 16 awards during the course of the year.

Defining Culture

Complete PR won a record 20 industry awards for a record seven different clients.  Our client RealOp Investments won the Greenville Chamber Small Business of the Year. Ariel Turner joined as Director of Public Relations in August.

PR in a Pandemic

What can we say about 2020 except that we learned a lot about working remotely and in stress. Yet, this was a fun year as we helped elected a wonderful State Representative in Jerry Carter, generated more than 1,000 separate news articles. In addition, we regained an office cat in Penny.
