With our country’s 242nd birthday falling smack dab in the middle of a hot business week, we’ve all found ourselves scrambling for ideas on how to celebrate. Have no fear, you live in Greenville. If there’s one thing we all know about this city, it’s that there is always something to do no matter what day of the week it is.
Just like you’ve gathered enough fireworks to burn down a house, we’ve gathered a list of 5 fun things you can do this independence day.
Channel your own independence by proving you can singlehandedly solve Greenville’s hottest escape room, Escape Artist. Created and run by a local team in Greenville, Escape Artist is a skill challenging team work activity perfect for any occasion.
If you’re looking to start your celebration a couple days early, get a seat at the Greenville Drive game on July 1st. Since baseball holds the nickname of America’s pastime, this definitely qualifies as a true American celebration.
If you’re looking for a more traditional way of celebrating, check out the Wells Fargo Red, White and Blue Festival. For an evening event promising great food and music, go view some festive July 4thfireworks in Downtown Greenville from 5-10pm.
If you desire the number one view on said fireworks, you better get yourself on the roof at Topside for their member exclusive Fourth of July party. And don’t worry, if you aren’t a member, it isn’t too late to sign up for a membership.
If none of these ideas have excited you this far, here’s our last shot. Ride your bike on over to the Swamp Rabbit Café & Grocery for a cookout on July 4thfrom 11am-4pm. Featuring grass-fed burgers, hot dogs and cream pies, this event is a great way to incorporate some physical activity into your celebration.
So…where will you celebrate the Fourth of July?
